  18. This distribution contains the non-WHQL version of the Voodoo2 Control
  19. Panel Applet.  This version enables the following functions on the
  20. Advanced Properties menu of the control panel:

  22. Direct3D Advanced Properties

  24. * Don't sync buffer swaps to monitor refresh rate for Direct3D apps
  25. * Disable Voodoo2 Direct3D Support
  26.  
  27. Glide Advanced Properties

  29. * Don't sync buffer swaps to monitor refresh rate for Glide apps

  31. The 3Dfx Voodoo2 reference drivers ship with a WHQL compliant version
  32. of the Voodoo2 Control Panel Applet that does not expose the above
  33. functions.

  36. Installation

  39. 1) Install the latest 3Dfx Voodoo2 reference drivers if they haven't
  40.    already been installed.

  42. 2) Copy or extract the 3DfxV2ps.dll file included with this distribution
  43.    into your Windows 95/98 system directory (normally C:\Windows\System),
  44.    replacing the existing version.
